Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME-02)

Duties include but not limited to:
• Repairing and maintaining aircraft as per appropriate manuals
• Ensuring aircraft documentation is complete and accurate
• Verifying all components installed on aircraft are properly certified
• Overseeing the work of apprentices and instructing them in company
procedures and policy, along with aviation standards and practices
• Ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times and other related duties
as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Minimum of 5 years related experience
• Valid Transport Canada M2 License
• Endorsements on aircrafts operated by Air North (Boeing 737-200 and
Hawker Siddeley 748)
• Ability to work under pressure and possess strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be able to attain a Transport Restricted Airport Security Pass
• English, spoken and written
• Position is located in Whitehorse, Yukon – Outside applicants must be willing
to relocate.
