Principal accountabilities:
To compile and distribute route compliant and cost effective flight plans for all Jordan Aviation aircraft using the Sita flight planning system.
To provide ETOPS flight plans, flight releases and route plotting charts and to maintain the relevant weather watch for the duration of each flight.
To provide all relevant planning data to crews.
In conjunction with the AC, to effectively manage ATC slots and to minimise delays using tactical reroutes where appropriate.
Provision of data for fuel monitoring
Overflight requests and monitoring.
Compilation of daily log to record relevant information for future reference.

Specialist or technical skills, training and qualifications required e.g. aircraft licences
Jordanian/FAA Dispatchers license.
Recognised ETOPS authority on shift having completed both company and Sita training courses.
Comprehensive knowledge of principles of flight.
Good working knowledge of IFPS and CFMU procedures.
