Finance & Admin Officer - Emirates, Nigeria


Provide comprehensive budgeting support to the FAM and Line Managers so that the desired quality is achieved in their budget submissions. Review departmental costs with the Line Managers / FAM and help them to improve the financial performance of their business units by providing useful financial input. Identify areas of cost savings and productivity improvements and bring these to the attention of the FAM. Regularly evaluate Revenue Performance and Cost of Sale for business units and provide feed back to Line Manager and the FAM. Analyze and evaluate all agreements new and existing, and identify areas for cost control and cost reduction. Maintain a database of all agreements (including all GSAs) and contracts in place and provide the relevant Line Manger and Finance Manager with details/feedback. Ensure GSAs are recharged according to agreements, accounted in EK books and reconciled with GSA statements. Review GDS wastage report for UAE on a monthly basis and process recoveries accordingly. To regularly check all invoices received from suppliers against the agreements and verify accuracy of charges. Review and discuss with the FAM to finalize Monthly Accounting Pack (MAP). Assist and handle any other matters/areas in finance as requested by the FAM e.g. statistical and productivity analysis.

Experience and Qualifications:
• University Graduate in Commerce. 
• Minimum of 3-4 years previous experience within a finance function, preferably in areas relating to cost control, business process re-engineering, purchasing and supply. 
• Advanced accounting knowledge 
• Analytical ability 
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
